    costs that can be supported Norad primarily covers expenses incurred in the development country Norad will always consider the balance between the proposed hours in the home country and in the host development country Time sheets for the project shall differentiate the time spent in the country of origin and in the partner country and shall be attached to the financial statements Salary of employees Maximum approved hourly rate for wages to employees including owners and board members are determined by Norad and is currently up to NOK 550 per hour Hourly rates as presented in the application should cover the employee s actual labor costs Fees paid to contracted labor Maximum hourly rate for fees to external consultants instructors legal assistance etc are determined by Norad and is currently up to NOK 1000 per hour Maximum rate applies if the actual hourly rate is higher The fee shall cover the consultants expenses and costs Travel and living expenses These expenses are at a maximum covered according to rates and rules for Norwegian official governmental travel allowance It is assumed that any travel is conducted in the most affordable manner which amongst other includes tickets in economy class Alternatively the company must pay the difference Accommodation costs will be covered on the basis of actual costs based on the invoice by hotels or similar Any other expenses Expenses for local transportation interpreter copying and similar project related costs can be covered Costs not covered by Norad Norad do not normally cover costs incurred before granting funding commitments or operating costs Investments in equipment will at the outset not be covered When applying for a pilot test production it will be necessary to include the measure s income in the budget Forms Application form word Form for final reporting for grants
