  • Use Your Head campaign for Telenor - Trigger
    digital bullying situations is key for success The solution We teamed up with The Red Cross Kids and Media and the Norwegian Media Authority all of which contributed in developing content for the campaign with their unique respective insight competence and technology Partners who previously have struggled to find a common platform are coming together for the first time We developed the Use Your Head campaign a school tour getting straight to the core of young people s online reality using concrete examples and practical advice for how to beat digital bullying The aim was to fight digital bullying by sharing knowledge about how parents and children should deal with those situations We organized separate meetings for parents in the evenings while meeting with students during school hours An extensive promotion of the tour at its commencement during both fall and spring semesters was central to the PR task To make sure there was renewed media interest we carried out a national survey to map the development of the scale and attitude of digital bullying We engaged top political leaders who actively fronted the campaign Building on the student s ambassador effect we produced a declaration against digital bullying at brukhue com Anyone who accepted the conditions in the declaration could download a Use Your Head logo that could be uploaded as their Facebook profile picture An encouragement to read the declaration and to show resistance was also published on their Facebook wall for other friends to see The results Attention The Use Your Head campaign has created more than 1 000 articles in the media Engagement During the spring of 2013 the Use Your Head tour will have visited 400 schools nearly 120 000 students and 20 000 parents Effect Three in four children and young people say that
