    of digital tools in its study programmes The aim is to utilize new forms of communication and to try new arrangements for teaching and academic supervision Students at UiA will to an increasing extent be using computers in their daily academic work A transition to digital examinations is an important part of this process The students should therefore have laptops at their disposal Evaluation The study programme evaluation is completed in accordance with Quality Assurance System Chapter 2 3 1 during an annual evaluation of study programmes by the Study Programme Advisory Committee in which there is at least one student representative from each study programme year Assessment methods The grades are based on written exam project work compulsory exercises and or an oral examination The assessment or evaluation may show the grade pass or fail or marks from A to F where A is the top grade the lowest pass grade is E The grading scale conforms to the European Credit Transfer System ECTS For more information please refer to the course descriptions and the current exam regulations During the last semester of the three year engineering programme the students undertake a research project Most of these final projects are carried out in co operation with local industry and businesses The students present their results in a written report and give a presentation to an audience of academic staff and fellow students Qualification awarded Bachelor i ingeniørfag Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering Requirements for continuing in programme Students must have passed at least 130 ECTS at the start of 6th semester in order to carry out the final research project This is valid for students who carry out their bachelor project from spring term 2014 Occupational profiles and furter studies Engineers are employed in private enterprises and organisations
